Sonamarg Valley Meltwater Stream Standard Acrylic Wall Art

from $152.00

July, along the Srinagar–Leh highway, just after sunrise. We were stopped at the roadside waiting for an army convoy to pass when I looked out of the window and saw this: a meltwater stream threading down the gorge below, slopes running from bare rock to deep green in a thousand feet (300 m), cloud caught along the high ridges, and the early light finding gold in the near slopes. No tripod, no setup — just the frame, while it lasted.

Sonamarg means "meadow of gold," a name the valley earns in the warmer months. This is a landscape of layers: the lit near slopes, the stream falling through shadow below, the cloud-wrapped peaks behind.

Standard Acrylic — An image built on layers needs separation between them, and that is what the acrylic mount provides — the warm lit near slopes stay distinct from the shadowed gorge and the cloud behind. Glossy (OP3) is the high-gloss option, maximum depth and vibrancy with premium UV filtering; matte (P99) is anti-glare, holding balanced sharpness and the same UV protection with reflections removed.

Also available in: TruLife Acrylic version · ChromaLuxe Metal version · Gallery Metal version · Fine Art Paper version

Made to order · Allow 3–5 weeks for production and delivery · Shipping charged at cost, never marked up · Shipping & Returns
